Hey friends!
Spaghetti Squash Recipe:
This one is simple folks, and super delicious!
Ingredients: Spaghetti squash, the cheapest spaghetti or tomato sauce, or whatever you prefer, and some cheese! Mozzarella is good.
Step one: Put your oven on at 350. Cut the spaghetti squash in half and scoop out the inside stringy, nasty bit. Place the two halves on a cooking pan, then put olive oil all over the inside of each squash. Pour some spaghetti sauce or tomato sauce in each half. I like to fill it up half way. Sprinkle on some salt and pepper. Finally grate some cheese on top and place the tray in the oven. It takes about 45-60 mins or more depending on how good your oven is. It took me an hour and a bit to cook mine because I live in a super old building with super old appliances… (haha). Anyhow! The cheese will come out nice and melted and goes great with the sauce and spaghetti squash! This is going to be crazy hot, so let it cool for a bit. Trust me on this.
There’s your inexpensive, delicious dinner idea of the week! I owe this post to my friend Anne Huisken -okay okay so I stole this one from her -but it’s amazing! She told me about it, and I make this quite often.. yum-yum.
