Hello friends!
My apologies for the delayed blog post, my website was under construction.
Anyhow! Did you have an amazing Thanksgiving? Got some left overs? Make a casserole!
LEFT OVER TURKEY DINNER NOM NOMS
- Throw that turkey in a pan with some onion and garlic, salt and pepper.
- Boil some potatoes (3-6 depending on how many people you are feeding)
- Mash the potatoes with some garlic powder and minced garlic, add salt and pepper to taste.
- In a casserole style pan, (I use my grandmas glass dish) throw down some olive oil, then a thin layer of those mashed potatoes.
- Pour some frozen peas and whatever other frozen veggies you’ve got (I added peas and carrots) sprinkle on salt
- Pull apart your turkey with a knife and fork if and put on top!
- Pour on some of that left over gravy! (Save some to put on top once it’s cooked)
- Add another layer of mashed potatoes.
- Either cook this previous, or put on not cooked (depending on how hungry and impatient you are) -Some cauliflower! Salt and pepper on top, then the magic ingredient -CHEEEESE!
- Put this in the oven (depending on whether or not you cooked your cauliflower) If uncooked: approx 45-60 mins. If uncooked, well, just until that cheese is nice and broiled! Oven at 300, or hotter if you want it done quicker 🙂
- Serve and pour on some more gravy if you feel so inclined!
Eat and enjoy and let your stomach be merry.
HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! #gobblegobble
Much love,
Jodi
